Sickening revelations, and as you note, much more of the same to come. Thanks for your years of work to reveal the truth about this dirty war

"The US Congress is so committed to deploying US troops to steal Syrian resources that it refuses to even debate it. In September, a proposed amendment from Rep. Jamal Bowman (D-NY) that would require Congressional authorization for the U.S. military force in Syria was defeated 141-286."

A corruption so wicked, vulgar, and profound. And now so hopelessly woven into our 21st century national fabric that only an asymmetric opposition to it seems feasible as a remedy.

I should add that it is interesting that the NYT reported this story, after years of unrelenting cheerleading for the Wars, on Syria and on everywhere else.

As sad as this massacre of innocent civilians is, it can only be a drop in the bucket considering the way the US prosecuted the air war against ISIS. Without any consideration towards the civilians that remained trapped behind ISIS' lines, the US systematically flattened building after building, block after block. Their disregard for civilians was clear from the outset when they expended thousands of rounds of white phosphorus munitions on Mosul, an act which is clearly banned by the UN.

some people keep telling me America is a Democracy, but in that case who in America owns this, I can with certainty know who profits from it.

As if this incident were a one-off.

Rather, it is a direct and entirely predictable consequence.of our wars of aggression against Syria and elsewhere.

Wars are ugly and the last way we should ever settle arguments or differences. They always end badly and the civilians always suffer the most.

US in Syria is like Japan in Manchuria following the Mukden Incident.

See? The prefect reason to impeach former President Trump!

Except doing so would cause every facet of the American Empire to crumble; left only with a name.

This Is Terrible News On Anniversary Of My Ninth Year Of Activism Fighting For Syrian Independence. This Is One

Of The Most Tragic Events Of The De-cade Long War In Syria. And The U.S. Military Involved Must Be Held Fully Accountable For Their Actions. As A U.S.Citizen I Do Personally Apologize With All Of My Heart And Soul To The

Families Of Those That Tragically Died That Day. And I Apologize To All Of The

Brave Citizens Of War Torn Free Syria!!

Sincerely, David Sullivan @KontikiDave

Why wait for NYT to report US atrocities before we acknowledge them all over the MSM? It's not like we didn't know deep inside. Some comments blamed one administration and not another. You've got to be oozing intellectual dishonesty to deny it.
